2025 Hakata Dontaku Festival about to begin!

This is WeBase HAKATA.

This year’s Hakata Dontaku Festival day is approaching.

Festival eve on May, 2nd (with special guests each year), and the parade starts from May, 3rd until May, 4th.

The parade starts from Meiji Ave. nearby Gofukumachi Subway Station, passing ACROS Fukuoka, and going through Tenjin Chuo Park.

And of course, our guests can also enjoy the festival on Meiji Ave. right in front of our hostel.

Also this year, the hotel will again receive a courtesy visit from the Hakata Matsubayashi (Hakata pine band), which is also the origin of the Hakata Dontaku festival!

The three schools of Hakata Matsubayashi, the Fukujin Nagare, Ebisu Nagare, and Daikoku Nagare, as well as the Wakko Nagare, will be here to celebrate with us, so whether you are the guest staying at our hostel or not, everyone are welcome to join and enjoy with them.

Two days festival schedule are as follows.
