WeBase Hakata offers a beginner-friendly Kendo experience where you can learn the basics of one of Japan’s most iconic martial arts.<\/p>\n

The experience takes place at Rakunokan Kendo Dojo<\/strong>, a traditional dojo located just outside central Fukuoka. Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, you will learn Kendo etiquette, how to use a bamboo sword (shinai<\/em>), and fundamental techniques in a welcoming environment.<\/p>\n

      The program is led by Keisuke Morifuji<\/strong>, head instructor of Isshinkan Dojo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      Mr. Morifuji has practiced Kendo since the age of 10 and currently teaches approximately 70 children. He also has experience teaching Kendo in France, making his lessons enjoyable and accessible for international visitors and first-time participants.<\/p>\n
