Hakata filled with excitement during the month of July!<\/p>\n

Again this year, Hakata Gion Yamakasa held in grand style has just ended!<\/p>\n

Started from early July. The streets of Hakata, including Kawabata Shopping Arcade, full with decorative “Kazariyama” mountains. Entire Hakata area were filled with the colorful and vibrant festive atmosphere.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Experience breathtaking moment of gorgeous “Kaki-Yama” (carrying a portable shrine) passing right in front of our Hostel, guests and even our staffs were able to witnesses firsthand the pure powerful energy of this traditional event.<\/p>\n

One French family were excited that they are able to observed the powerful spectacle festival on Doi street in front of WeBase HAKATA\u00a0 unfolding before their eyes<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Just before the mountain passing by, our General Manager filling up “Kioimizu” (Invigorate water) to enliven the atmosphere along the roadside.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Here the famous [SHIP’S CAT] in front of our WeBase HAKATA Hostel was also more proudly (?) than usual to welcoming everyone.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The streets of Hakata were decorated with the Yamakasa lanterns has created the fantastic atmosphere, you can felt the difference once nightfall.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This year as well, there were many guests stayed for the festival, and many said that this is one of the great experience to get the taste of traditional Japanese culture.\u2728<\/p>\n
