We are holding “Etaji-market” about every 3 month which sells fresh vegetables,special products and Oysters (only in winter) from Etajima.

Susanna stayed for 6 weeks while taking photos of Hiroshima with an antique camera for her exhibition.
The photo was on the last day with her friend from Finland.

We had a Tanabata (traditional star festival held on the 7th July) tree in the lounge.
Jean and her companion wrote their wishes on a piece of paper called Tanzaku and hang it on a bamboo tree, and enjoyed making paper cranes (Oridzuru).
Japanese Typhoon experience

Koa from Hawaii and Sterre from Netherlands had to extend their stay due to a big typhoon attacked Japan.
Koa and Sterre become a part of WeBase family, and we enjoyed chatting about many things.

SHIP'S CAT travel to Netherlands

Jan and his daughter from Netherlands fell in love with SHIP'S CAT.
They were happy with little SHIP'S CATs in capsules. SHIP'S CAT is now settled in somewhere Netherlands.
First visit to Japan

This is the first time to Japan for Quy and Mohamed from California and they chose Hiroshima as the first city to visit.
There had many surprises by experiencing a different culture.

”One Life Adventures" had been a regular guest of WeBase Hiroshima for about a year.
On the last day of their tour, they gave us a big smile in front of ship's cat.
It seems that Hiroshima is the final stop on every tour, and it was impressive to see them hugging each other on the last day to say goodbye.
Meeting each other once in a lifetime is the romance of travel☺.
Easter Egg Hunting!

We held Egg Hunting event during Easter. Guests get a prize if they found a hidden easter egg.
Mother and daughter, Dorothea and Esther, from Germany found a egg each, and got Momiji towel and a drink ticket through the ladder lottery!
They told us that they had a wonderful time in Japan, and did not want to go back home...
We are waiting for you to come back to Hiroshima.
Miyajima Itsukushima Shrine
Itsukushima Shrine, a national treasure, was registered as a World Heritage Site in 1996.
Atomic Bomb Dorm & Museum
Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park is sandwiched between two rivers, the Ota River and the Motoyasu River. The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, including the UNESCO World Heritage Atomic Bomb Dome, conveys the experience of the atomic bomb to posterity.
Hiroden (Hiroshima Trams/streetcars)
Hiroden is the longest and most used streetcar network in Japan.
You can visit many tourist attractions including Miyajima by riding Hiroden. Antique streetcars from all over Japan as well as two streetcars that survived atomic bombing run on the network.
