福岡市博多区の十日恵比須神社（とおかえびすじんじゃ）で、「正月大祭」が開催されます。

正月大祭は、8日「初えびす」、9日「宵えびす」、10日「正大祭」、11日「残りえびす」と続き、さまざまな行事が執り行われます。

見どころは、新春の縁起を祝う儀式「開運御座（かいうんおざ）」と、博多芸妓による「徒歩詣り（かちまいり）」。

この神社は商売繁盛の神様「えびす様」と縁結びの神様「だいこく様」が祀られています。商売繁商の御利益を授かる為に新年から多くの参詣者が訪れます。

The “New Year Grand Festival” will be held at Toka Ebisu Shrine in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City.

The New Year Grand Festival will be followed by “Hatsu Ebisu” on the 8th, “Yoebisu” on the 9th, “Shodai Matsuri” on the 10th, and “Remaining Ebisu” on the 11th, during which various events will be held.

Highlights are the “Kaiun Oza,” a ceremony to celebrate the New Year’s auspiciousness, and “Kachimairi,” a walking pilgrimage performed by Hakata geiko.

The shrine is dedicated to “Ebisu-sama,” the god of business prosperity, and “Daikoku-sama,” the god of marriage. Many visitors come to the shrine from the New Year to receive blessings for prosperous business.
