In 2019, I left an interior design company after 10 months as a new grad, unable to forget the Syrian refugees I met in Turkey during my trip.

After six months of visiting social entrepreneurs around Japan and learning about social business while experiencing social issues first-hand, I finally moved to Turkey in October 2021.

And after a year and a half abroad, I came back and started my hazelnut shop, themed on personal connections with producers.

What is “refugee” and what kind of person they actually are? Why and how did I end up with ‘hazelnuts’? I, Ryo, a nuts connoisseur, will tell you everything!

2019年、大学の卒業旅行の際に訪れたトルコで出会ったシリア難民の方達が忘れられず、新卒で入社した大手インテリア企業を10ヶ月で退職。
半年ほど日本各地の社会起業家さんのもとを訪ね、社会課題を肌で感じながらソーシャルビジネスを学び、2021年10月より、ついにトルコへ移住。
1年半の滞在を経て、「生産者さんの顔と想いが見えるヘーゼルナッツ屋さん」として帰国＆事業開始。

難民と一言で言ってもどんな人たちなのか？
なぜ、どのように「ヘーゼルナッツ」にたどり着いたのか？
