For the first time in four years, the “Hakata Dontaku Port Festival” will be held without restrictions!
Since the spread of the Covid-19, the 『Dontaku』 , as it is commonly known, had been canceled until 2021.
Last year, in 2022, the event was held for the first time in three years on a reduced scale.
And this year, for the first time in four years, the festival will be held in the pre-Corona Disaster style, with no restrictions on viewing or number of people.
The wearing of masks is at the discretion of the participants.
Dontaku is one of the largest festivals in Japan, with an annual attendance of over 2 million people.
Even last year, when the event was scaled down, its attendance reached 800,000.
