Consequently, messages directing some customers who booked “WeBase Hakata” via Booking.com to phishing sites were delivered.

Furthermore, there is a possibility that personal information of customers stored in the management system may have been viewed by third parties.

We do not request credit card information or urge payment via email or chat on the accommodation reservation site.

We kindly ask our customers not to access files or links attached to emails from Booking.com without caution and to contact Booking.com (+44-20-3320-2609) or the hotel if the content seems unfamiliar.

We have sent cautionary messages to customers to whom have received the phishing message and have changed the login passwords for Booking.com at all WeBase facilities.

We deeply apologize for any inconvenience and concern caused to our customers.

※ “Phishing site” refers to a fake website that mimics a real website, created using fraudulent methods to steal personal information such as credit card numbers.
