From tomorrow, the 29th, two young artists will exhibit their works + Omotesenke tea ceremony professor

Thursday, September 29, 5-8 p.m.

Friday, September 30, 5 to 8 p.m.

Saturday, October 1, 2-5 p.m.

 

＊500 yen per seat (tea and sweets)

＊Art Exhibit will be on display from September 22, 2022 (Thursday) to October 10, 2022 (Monday, holiday) from 10am to 8pm daily during this period.

Free admission (Books & Lounge rates apply for stays of 30 minutes or more)

■ Artists

 

焼山 幸紀 ／ YAKIYAMA tomoki

Born in Chikushino City, Fukuoka Prefecture in 2000.

He is an emerging contemporary artist who graduated from the Faculty of Art at Kyushu Sangyo University this March 2022.

He is active with the theme of「expression that asks questions that give viewers new ideas and awareness」

 

 

李 若琦 ／ Li Ruoqi

After graduating from Kyushu Sangyo University this March 2022, he entered the graduate school of Kyushu Sangyo University for deeper pursuit.

The contrasts between 「nature and the city」「past and present」 and so on, are mixed and mingled.

He has been working on art activities, focusing on the landscapes in which he lives and works.

 

 

 

 

The tea ceremony culture was founded by Sen no Rikyu, and at that time, the most advanced art and culture of the time was introduced at the tea ceremony.

It is said that exchanges took place.
